The source curricula support a focused pre-entry introduction and a broader comprehensive programme. Final timing and content are confirmed for each engagement.
Seven three-hour modules covering care fundamentals and ethics, safety, ageing, dementia and disability, workplace communication and Ho-Ren-So, mobility, eating, toileting, dressing, bathing and cleanliness.
A broader classroom and practical curriculum covering dignity, independence, safety, communication, recordkeeping and the core situations candidates are likely to encounter in care work.
Practical focus
Dignity, privacy, independence and communication are treated as foundations of care.
Candidates learn the purpose, sequence and safety considerations behind mobility, eating, toileting, dressing and cleanliness support.
Greetings, attitude, reporting, contacting and consulting are practised alongside care vocabulary and recordkeeping.
Course completion supports preparation but is not represented as a Japanese licence, statutory qualification or guarantee of employment. Any programme recognition or post-entry training reduction must be confirmed against the current rules and the receiving institution's requirements.
Delivery model
The training materials reviewed for this site describe delivery at an external Japanese-managed centre in Yangon, with Japanese instructors and practical training equipment. The delivery partner, instructor availability, timetable and curriculum version are confirmed before an employer proposal is issued.
